Eye Masks and Saving Your Soul When You're a Brand New Parent

I'm in full-fledged baby mode right now (countdown is official—I'm 35 weeks!) so you'll have to forgive me—I really needed a sleeping eye mask recommendation and to get my love for eye masks in general off of my chest so I wrote a post all about them on Design Mom and even got Gabrielle to join me in calling them A Tiny Treasure.  (Treasure series here. I HEART this series. The things I love, I really love so it's a big treat for me to get to share that stuff with Gabby's awesome people.)

If you are expecting, know someone expecting, or have a hard time sleeping AT ALL, try an eye mask. For me. I seriously think a case of pretty pink ear plugs, an eye mask, and some new cozy (but nice looking) pajamas is the nicest thing you can gift a new mom. Please do this for the mama-to-be in your life.

P.S. Thank you so much for your sweet emails, comments, and tweets. We're doing great. I've just taken a summer hiatus from Original Archiving Co. to focus on my Design Mom posts and some freelance and personal projects. I'm also eating a lot of Rocky Road and trying to wrap my mind around having another baby. Somehow that's monopolizing almost all of my attention these days. Know that I know you're here, I love you, and I'll be back occasionally to share discovery posts and personal updates. (Like pictures of our new baby boy! :))
