Room With A View
Menno Aden is a photographer living in Berlin. His series of room portraits were taken by elevating his camera—with or without assistance—and remotely snapping about 150 photos of one room. The resulting images are definitely interesting, but even more interesting were his thoughts on the project:
The resulting images lay out space in symmetrical compositions that look like assemblages stripped off any kind of objectivity...The notion of surveillance is systematically played out by the artist to hint at society’s voyeuristic urge that popular culture has made mainstream.
