The Ordinary beauty products review

After spending some time in Korea last month, I've been obsessed with learning about the Korean 10 step regimen. I looked into all different products but was really bummed when the products added up to over $800. But when I read into Sydney's skin care regimen, I saw this serendipitous comment linking to Abnormal Beauty Company beauty products. Biossance Squalene Oil was $58 whereas The Ordinary's 100% Plant-derived Squalene Oil was $8. Once I saw the prices, ingredients, and incredible reviews from beauty editors I was totally hooked. I bought myself a lil birthday present and ordered a whole slew of serums, oils, and lotion.

I've been applying most of these most mornings and nights. :) I don't usually do anything to take care of my face beside washing it at night so putting on several things feels like a whole new world. I'm cutting myself a lot of slack. So far my favorites are

1) Advanced Retinoids (night only),

2) Buffet, and

3) Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA. Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA is the best face lotion I've ever used. I tend to have dry, sensitive skin and these have all helped a ton. I've only been using the serums for about a week and a half and I've already noticed that my skin is smoother, fewer fine lines, not dry and itchy, and looks more "glowy". It's the kind of look I got when I did Whole30, but better. And I'm definitely not doing Whole30 right now.

SOO I'm curious if you've heard of The Ordinary? Abnormal Beauty Company? Or Deciem? (Abnormal Beauty Company/Deciem is the umbrella company/The Ordinary is the specific line I bought from. There are several different lines of make up, serums, etc.) Have you tried any of their foundation or blur? I'm on the waitlist. I shared these bottles on Instagram and heard from a few friends that they were using it and LOVING it too. It's so exciting that there's finally affordable, high-quality skin care products.

P.S. I don't know who did the branding on Deciem but it is ON POINT. Wow. I even got an email newsletter from them and it was super lengthy and on point.
